This post is part of a series of weekly found poetry prompts. If you have an idea for a found poetry source, email Senior Poetry Editor Beth Ayer.
Your task this week:
Choose your favorite poet (or a favorite poet) and consult a list of their poem titles in a table of contents or list of works. Select from your chosen poet’s poem titles, leaving the full titles intact but reordering them to create an original poem. This exercise is a variation on the cento technique.
As always, please share your poems in the comments or submit to an upcoming issue.
