Poetry Prompt: So Random

sugar sprinkles

For something to be “random” it must be proceeding, made, or occurring without definite aim, reason, or pattern. Or in statistics: of or characterizing a process of selection in which each item of a set has an equal probability of being chosen. Or informally (and here is where people get annoyed): odd and unpredictable in an amusing way.

Blame snake people, if you want.

Enter the Random Text Generator. According to its creator, Vangelis Bibakis, the generator pulls texts from gutenberg.org and then “a mixing algorithm messes things up.”

Prompt:

Visit the Random Text Generator and generate a text by selecting “go.” Select some words from your generated text. Then head over to Random.org and enter those words (in any order) into the List Randomizer.

Write a found list poem by using these two generators together. Share the results in the comments!
