You can learn how to do just about anything if you have an internet connection: how to high five, how to make unleavened bread, how to lead a creative life. We know that life is aided by all kinds of instructions; and our “how to” searches can be strangely telling of our circumstances, our interests, or even our secrets.

Create a found poem from “how to” text (for any task, large or small). Collect words and phrases from one or more instruction documents and combine them into an original poem. New to found poetry? Read about common techniques and guidelines.
