Poetry Prompt: Breaking Down Breaking Bad

Walter White Breaking Bad

This post is part of a series of weekend found poetry prompts. If you have an idea for a found poetry source, email Senior Poetry Editor Beth Ayer.

This Sunday marks a much-anticipated TV event: the series finale of AMC’s Breaking Bad. Fans will surely have predictions for how Walter White‘s story will end, but here we ask you to create something entirely new out of this denouement. In honor of the conclusion of Breaking Bad, create a found poem using text from the script of the series pilot. The words “Winnebago” and “underpants” will never be the same.

Please share your resulting poem in the comments, or submit to an upcoming issue.
