This post is part of a series of weekly found poetry prompts. If you have an idea for a found poetry source, email Senior Poetry Editor Beth Ayer.
For the past five years, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has released an annual letter discussing the foundation’s activities and plans. The 2015 letter makes the following “bet”:
The lives of people in poor countries will improve faster in the next 15 years than at any other time in history. And their lives will improve more than anyone else’s.
Prompt: Write a poem by remixing or erasing the 2015 Gates letter, responding to its content or merely borrowing its words.
