Found Poetry Source: Grammar Texts, Rules and Writings

grammar

This is the first post in a series of weekend found poetry prompts. If you have an idea for a found poetry source, email Senior Poetry Editor Beth Ayer at editor@foundpoetryreview.com.

What does grammar have to do with poetry?

Grammar is a fraught subject, a fun subject, and for some a frightening subject. In honor of the recent National Grammar Day (March 4th), try exploring grammar texts, rules and writings for found poetry source material. Be inspired by grammar mistakes, grammar explanations, grammar fandom or grammar freedom.  March forth!

“Everything has a lot to do with poetry and everything has a lot to do with prose…And what have nouns to do with poetry and periods and capital letters.”– Gertrude Stein “Poetry and Grammar”
